Plant a Tree with IGA Stores of BC

In April during Earth Month, we took action to make a lasting impact on our environment, one tree at a time.

Through our partnership with Tree Canada, we collected enough donations to plant 1,000 trees to support reforestation efforts across the country.

How It Worked

Throughout the month, customers were invited to donate $5 in-store. For every donation received, IGA Stores of BC contributed directly to Tree Canada to plant a tree in support of Canadian reforestation efforts.

Every tree planted helps clean the air, restore habitats, and fight climate change.

Why It Matters

Trees play a crucial role in protecting our environment from improving air quality and reducing carbon emissions.

This initiative helped contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable world for generations to come.
