Step 1: Combine the berries, sugar, and lemon juice in a large saucepan.
Step 2: Gently stir the berry mixture and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Step 3: Reduce to a gentle boil and cook uncovered for about 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.
Step 4: Cool, then enjoy immediately or refrigerate in a sealed jar for up to 2 weeks.
Step 5: Tip: To test the thickness of the jam, spoon a small amount onto a chilled spoon. If it sets, it’s done. If it’s still runny, continue cooking in 5-minute increments, testing after each.
